4 Amazing Ways to Color Oogie Boogie
Try out some of these simple ideas for coloring on your favorite Oogie Boogie prints with the items that are close at hand! Each provides a different look to this sackcloth shaped character!
1. Give His Sackcloth Some Texture
Start off with the lighter tan crayon first, and then make small brown strokes all over his body. Use the darker tones for your stitches as these are more visible on the rough texture of this fabric.
2. Try a Glowing Green Look
Go lime-green when coloring on an Oogie Boogie coloring sheet, whether they’re smiling big or striking a dramatic pose. Color around the edges using darker shades of green to give them some depth. Try a purple backdrop to make the bright color pop, giving your Halloween artwork that spooky nighttime vibe.
3. Make the Dice Pop
Pick a picture with Oogie Boogie tossing dice or balancing one on his head.
Try leaving most of the dice white and coloring only the dots. You can also try adding some pale gray along one edge of each die for a touch more depth. Painting red or orange in the background will help make the tiny dice stand out from their surrounding environment (which you should leave lighter than that).
4. Add Color to His Creepy Crawlers
If you have beetles on your page, try giving each one a different color! If there are worms, color them in purple. Maybe even some rusty orange shells for your scorpion!
