How to Color Candy Corn Coloring Pages in Cool Ways

Here are 3 simple ideas to color all of your Halloween printables! They each give that treat an interesting effect!

You can be making some cute triangle candy printables this week… You can enjoy using up some scraps for craft projects. Let us know if you want help with ideas on what else to do with them too! (Maybe some printable party favors?)

1. Give the Candy Soft Shading

The bottom should be colored yellow with the middle an orange hue, while leaving the pointed end as white. You can use a darker shade for the edge (on one side only), simulating how the pieces might have a rounded shape at this point.

You can also keep your pressure light when coloring in order to add layers to the colors over time — great practice for those who are working through the realistic candy designs or are having fun with sweets spilling out of a treat bag!

2. Dress Up the Halloween Characters

Now give your vampire candies some deep purple capes with bright red linings, add some silver buckles onto the witch character’s outfit, and surround the ghost candies by soft blue shadows.

You might want to also try drawing tiny stars on the background of your candy scene, as well. Don’t forget to leave enough room around every character to display their costumes!

3. Turn the Candy Flower into a Pattern

Repeat this color choice twice or thrice on the candy petals to make it look more vibrant by choosing 2 or 3 different colors out of the given ones.

You could try using an orange petal alternately with a yellow one but keeping the inner part as a pink color will give you a very happy fall coloring sheet.

And after finishing all the colorful petals, put some matching-colored dots around that beautiful flower.

Make sure you have your favorite candy corn coloring pages on hand to enjoy this next cozy afternoon of Halloween coloring!
