Color those creamy slices on toast…guacamole with tortilla chips…or maybe even a little guy with his shopping cart full of avocado halves? Younger kiddos might enjoy simpler fruit shapes, but we think our more mature colors could definitely find their way into the hearts of our big kids too!
They look great with green/brown crayons…but hey, if your little one has a pink avocado with purple cheeks, then go you!!

Need tips on how to create a realistic avocado coloring? Start with pale yellows near its pit, and move toward softer greens for the rest of the fruit’s flesh and darker shades toward its peel. There’s even room to draw the sprouting seed atop its water jar, and perhaps you can imagine colorful roots, fresh leaves, and clear glass!
4 Ideas To Use Avocado Colored Pages
Once you have your favorite avocado coloring pages printed, get some craft supplies together (cardstock paper, scissors, glue, ribbon) and make some fun crafts!
1. Make an Avocado Toast Menu
Once the slices are colored, glue them to folded cardstock with the picture of the avocado toast. Glue a pretend café name on top of the art.
Now inside, create a list of possible sandwich fillings, drinks, and their prices, making a cute little kitchen café!
2. Create a Growing Seed Journal
Pick out an avocado pit with some new leaves, paint it up, and hang your finished picture on a small notebook cover. Then add lots of things about how the real seed turns into a plant as it develops (with dates every time there’s a bit more root or leaf).
3. Put Together a Guacamole Party Sign
Trim around the sides of your guac bowl and tortilla chips, keeping a little border with paper you can easily trim away to make handling these easy.
Glue on a piece of cardstock sign that’s going to sit at your snacking area (or create one yourself!). You can try using scrapbook supplies here! Add some paper lime wedges all the way around too!
4. Turn a Character Into a Bookmark
First choose a cute avocado character that looks like it’s rolling its pit. Then color your cutout using your favorite bright shades.
Glue your cutout on a long strip of cardstock, keeping its little face close to the top. You can put it just peeking over the top of your book, which makes it look really sweet. Once the glue is dry, add a ribbon through a hole made at the top.
When you’re ready to save these avocado printables, you can also convert their size and then choose whichever format works best for you. You’ll have an easy time saving your favorite avocado coloring pages to come back to when you need an afternoon full of coloring, cutting, and making something really useful!
