3 Creative Coloring Ideas for Vampire Coloring Pages
You’ll be ready to make some simple Halloween decorations and games out of your colored-in vampire pages if you’ve done a couple of these coloring pages!
1. Make a Castle Door Sign
Cut a vampire that’s standing in front of a castle from construction paper and color his cape and the castle stones. Cut out the character and glue him onto some sturdy card stock.
Write your name on the top part of the castle (the big tower), put some bats drawn around the edge, and hang up this cute sign on your bedroom door or classroom cubby using ribbon!
2. Tell a Midnight Story
Color in 3 different scenes (e.g. vampire tends his moon flowers, plays chess with a bat, meets a ghost). Encourage everyone to pick colors that make you think the scenes take place on the same night.
Cut the colorings out and stick them onto separate sheets of paper, leaving room at the bottom for some notes explaining what happened in each scene. Mix up the papers and retell the stories. This is great for learning narrative structure and encouraging creativity! The more absurdly mixed-up the better, too—who could have predicted a cheerful vampire would end up where he did?
3. Create a Halloween Window Display
We love these vampire coloring sheets! They have bold shapes like a smiling face with fangs or even a little vampire peeking out of his coffin. Color them with bright markers and trim around the pictures.
Tape the colorful sheets on your window and add some paper moons and stars. It’s a great way to decorate your house during the night when evening hits (you’ll get tons of compliments)!
Keep these vampire coloring pages close for your next quiet Halloween afternoon.
