Free Printable Witch Coloring Pages
If you have young witches at home who are into coloring, these free printable witch coloring pages should be perfect. All of the coloring sheets here are available in PDF format for easy printing onto US letter size paper. These pages include some that will allow room for bigger crayon spaces (perfect for kids), and also more detailed images filled with potion bottles, magical tools, and other elements where using colored pencils would make sense.
We’ve been using regular printer paper for our coloring needs, but if you’re making decorations out of any of these witch pages, card stock might be necessary as a firm backer for the cutouts. We recommend checking out your print preview prior to printing off those Halloween coloring pages.
4 Tips to Color Witch Pages in Clever Ways
Set up some crayons, colored pencils and your scrap sheet to test different color shades before you start giving our printable witch coloring sheets that little bit of personality!
Let’s get this started!
1. Give the Hat a Pattern
Color the witch with an extra-large hat. Fill up the large areas of her hat with orange stripes, purple dots, or tiny stars that you can draw.
Keep the color of the hatband simple to allow your patterns stand out!
2. Make the Potion Glow
For a witch who’s stirring their cauldron, you’ll choose to work with shades of yellow that are close to the bubbles themselves, while blending shades of green into the edges.
You can also add a touch of yellow to their hands and the potion bottles next to them; this repetition of color creates such an interesting visual for this bubbling brew!
3. Color a Silly Broom Ride
You could choose the witch that’s riding backward with brown bristles of a warm color and maybe a little bit of pale blue for wind curling around her as well as some loose leaves blowing around her crooked path!
4. Turn a Friendly Witch into a Card
Paint the witch with softer tones and the dragon’s bandages. Use brighter colors on the witch’s clothes.
Trim your design and glue it on top of folded cardstock. Write some nice words in the inside! You could even keep a little bit of the white space on each side to help you cut out.
Save this one for an afternoon of color and spellcasting with the witch coloring pages you’ll find here on our site!
