Free Printable Almond Coloring Pages

Print these free printable almond coloring pages on US Letter size paper by loading your printer with some plain white paper and preparing colored pencils or crayons as you need light brown, cream, or tan shades to color the kernels and shell (but you can always go green for the leaves). For making cute little almond characters you may allow your children to choose their favorite color schemes too.

Our Favorite Ways to Color Almonds

There aren’t too many things you’ll need for these awesome almond coloring printables.

Set out some browns, some scrap paper, and glue and give these 4 ideas a go with your kids!

1. Give the Shells Some Texture

Once you’ve got this step down pat, ask your child which picture he’d prefer — one with the cracked shell or one that’s smooth? Once he selects his picture, help him color the shell of the almond in tan, and draw some short brown lines all around the outside of the kernel to give it a cracked look (use light and evenly spaced lines for more smoothly colored kernels).

2. Make a Snack Jar Label

Color the almonds in the beautiful storage jar illustration. Cut out one little bit and attach with glue to a piece of card stock that has been folded into a nice rectangular shape.

Write on a little handmade label that you are saving for later use. Then stick on top of your snacking vessel with some tape!

3. Decorate an Almond Branch

Color in your leafy almond branch using 2 different shades of green. Press lightly in some places (for light areas) and hard in others (edges). Then use browns for the nuts…leaving a bit of white around to give highlights.

The branch looks especially nice painted on a pale blue background (it looks really nice on your frig!).

4. Color a Dessert Menu

Let your kids choose between an almond-topped cake or croissant to color in golden brown before they design their own pattern on the plate. Then glue the final painting onto folded paper and get them to come up with a café name and write down a dessert menu!

Pick your favorite almond coloring pages and spend some quality coloring time!
